Snimiq Privacy Policy

Your photos, OCR text, tags, collections, and searches stay on your device.

Snimiq does not upload your photos or generated content to our servers. The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited diagnostic and usage information to improve reliability and performance. Snimiq does not display advertisements and does not track you across apps or websites.

The App performs its core functionality entirely on your iPhone or iPad. The following information remains on your device:

• Your photos and screenshots
• Text extracted from photos (OCR)
• Automatically generated and user-created tags
• Collections and organization data
• Search history and search queries

This information is never uploaded to our servers. Snimiq does not provide user accounts, cloud storage, or online synchronization.

Snimiq uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to help us understand app usage, diagnose crashes, and improve the App.

These services may collect information such as:

• Crash reports and diagnostic information
• Device model and operating system version
• App version
• Performance metrics (such as app launch time)
• Anonymous or pseudonymous usage events (for example, imports started or searches performed)
• Anonymous installation identifiers used to distinguish app installations
• Approximate location derived from your IP address for aggregate analytics (such as country or city-level region)

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics do not collect your photos, OCR text, generated tags, collections, or search content.

The collected information is not used to identify you personally and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Google processes this information in accordance with its own privacy practices.

Snimiq requests access to your photo library solely to display, index, search, and organize your photos on your device.

You may grant either Full Access or Limited Access and may change your selection at any time through iOS Settings.

Revoking photo access prevents the App from accessing your library but does not modify or delete your photos.

Snimiq:

• Does not display advertisements.
• Does not use the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
• Does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.
• Does not track your activity across third-party apps or websites.
• Does not sell your personal information.

Snimiq is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require user accounts and does not upload your photos or app-generated content to our servers.

You may:

• Delete the App at any time to remove all locally stored OCR text, tags, collections, and other app-generated data from your device. Your original photos remain unaffected.
• Reinstall the App to generate a new anonymous Firebase installation identifier.
• Contact us regarding questions about the diagnostic information collected by Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.

Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above. Significant changes may also be noted in future app release notes.
