Snimiq Terms of Service

Snimiq helps organize your photo library on your device by extracting text using on-device OCR, generating tags, and enabling fast search and smart organization. Your photos and related data are processed locally on your device. The App does not provide user accounts or store your photos or generated content on our servers.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App except where permitted by applicable law.

You retain ownership of your photos and any content derived from them, including recognized text, generated tags, and collections.

You are solely responsible for the content stored in your photo library and for complying with all applicable laws relating to that content. We do not access, upload, transmit, review, or moderate your photos or generated content.

Snimiq uses automated on-device technologies, including Apple's Vision and Natural Language frameworks, to recognize text and generate tags. These results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.

Do not rely solely on the App's search results or automatically generated tags when locating or verifying important information, including financial, legal, medical, or other critical documents.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent or interfere with the App's security or functionality.
• Reverse engineer or modify the App except where permitted by applicable law.
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or Apple's App Store policies.

The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited diagnostic information and anonymous or pseudonymous usage statistics to help improve the App's reliability, stability, and performance.

Your photos, OCR text, generated tags, collections, and other personal content are never uploaded to our servers.

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that the App will always operate without errors or interruptions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss, corruption, or inaccessibility of data, including photos stored on your device, arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. If these Terms are updated, the Effective Date above will be revised.

Your continued use of the App after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms remain in effect until terminated.

Your license to use the App ends automatically if you violate these Terms. You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.
